What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan and execute real estate projects for the employer's worldwide portfolio, including commercial and industrial leasing and real property acquisitions
- Negotiate and document contracts, focusing on leases, appraisals, title insurance, and environmental assessments
- Collaborate with legal counsel, facilities, business management, and external brokers to achieve business goals
- Engage in continuous process improvement efforts to enhance the corporate real estate function
- Foster a collaborative environment through effective listening and communication skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, economics, engineering, business law, or related discipline with at least 15 years of commercial and industrial real estate contract negotiation experience OR Master's degree with at least 13 years of experience
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial real estate contract negotiation
- Strong analytical skills for real estate market studies and financial analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in real estate financial/investment analysis, market studies, and scenario modeling
- Formal training in negotiation skills
- Proficiency with IBM Tririga real estate database
- MBA or JD Law with 8 years of detailed real estate lease contract negotiation experience
