What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct telephonic and chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for individuals in emotional distress
- Answer crisis contacts via a Zoom contact center or chat/text platform to assess suicide risk and identify community resources
- Perform follow-up calls for individuals identified as moderate to high risk for suicide
- Ensure compliance with ethical and clinical standards in accordance with accreditation
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments and community agencies to promote a culture of cooperation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- Six months to one year of crisis experience preferred
- Availability for shifts from Thursday to Monday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
- Proven ability to communicate effectively through various methods
- Strong customer service skills and professional etiquette
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention and knowledge of suicide assessments
- Familiarity with providing service linkage and referrals for community resources
