What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform medium- to high-level statistical analysis of large datasets to produce in-depth reports and visualizations
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual statistical reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SPSS
- Develop and implement new data visualization methods and dashboards
- Collaborate with the IT office on data system updates and improvements
- Document data analysis techniques to ensure replicability and identify risks in data limitations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, criminology, criminal justice, government/political science, psychology, economics, data science, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in program analysis, administrative research, or program development
- At least three years of experience in quantitative research, data analysis, and statistical reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and macros, and experience with Power BI
- Must be able to work a regular and predictable schedule at the worksite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in statistics or social science fields
- Experience generating and interpreting Visio documentation
- Background in conducting social science research in relevant fields
