What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide automotive parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
- Assist fellow team members in addressing customer inquiries using parts knowledge
- Deliver exceptional customer service and engage positively with all store visitors
- Maintain a customer-focused and energetic atmosphere in a fast-paced retail environment
- Utilize technology, including computers and cash registers, to assist customers effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn about auto parts
- High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Trade school courses or degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills with empathy for customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
- Customer-centric approach, both externally and internally
- ASE Certifications
