Motivate and inspire the team by articulating the compelling vision for the store, reflecting and maximising the power of the Salomon brand
Manage all aspects of the store scorecard: people, operations, finance and customers to deliver consistently high performing results
Act as a role model and ensure that the team understands the customer's needs and profile, so they can deliver consistently high-quality service
Present and visible on the shop floor, interacting with customers and team members
Effectively manage the store inventory levels ensuring the market and customer needs are met
Deliver operational best practice through partnership with the District Manager
Oversee activities, adhering to building safety, health and safety standards and inspections; maintaining a safe and secure environment for the team and customers
Manage the staff scheduling ensuring appropriate staff cover
Ensure the company’s policies are understood and adopted by all team members
Manages the resources to achieve the budgeted level of operating expenses spend and the in-store customer service experience
Monitor a loss prevention program to protect the company’s inventory and assets
Analysis of sales trends to ensure optimal product selection and maximization of sales
Deliver the P&L and retail KPI’s in line with budget and forecast
Effectively lead the in-store team recruitment
Work with the ASM to ensure that all members of the team receive effective onboarding and ongoing training and education
Actively support and deliver the personal career development opportunities of the store team
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a leading retail position
- You want to combine your passion for the sports industry and fashion with your professional role
- You love interacting with customers and creating exceptional experiences
- You can demonstrate experience in building strong customer relationships
- An excellent understanding of retail on your part is an advantage
- You are willing to work a shift schedule that includes evenings or weekends
- You are motivated and eager to learn
- You know how to use MS Office and the most important key figures
- If you are also familiar with our Salomon products, that would be fantastic!
