- Maintain high visibility near the front entrance and survey the outside parking areas
- Escort employees and/or customers as requested
- Intervene with and effectively diffuse customer conflicts
- Inspect perimeter doors, windows and gates to ensure high levels of security
- Monitor store environment to deter undesirable activity on the property
- Police Officer, Deputy, or Trooper experience or US Military Law Enforcement
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in using sound judgement to manage conflict and communicate effectively under pressure
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and maintain composure in stressful environments
- Ability to anticipate, analyze and identify opportunities
- Valid driver’s license
- Associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- AED, APR and FAC certified
