What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support projects involving municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) compliance and watershed planning
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater management
- Design stormwater best management practices and prepare technical reports
- Manage and deliver multiple concurrent project assignments with task-level responsibility
- Provide litigation support services related to Clean Water Act compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering with an emphasis on water resources, or a closely related field of study
- At least 5 years of research or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record for business travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering
- Professional registration (i.e., P.E.)
- 7+ years of research or related experience
- Experience with modeling and design software tools such as EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS
