      What will you do?

      Schneider Electric is searching for a Strategic Account Executive for the Energies and Chemicals Segment. This person will be responsible for driving the strategy which consists of innovation, digital and sustainability capabilities with our strategic accounts ENI & Saipem. This is a role which requires the successful candidate to balance long term strategy with the realization of short-term business, be a strong communicator both with end-users as well as the internal organization. The development of long-term relationships within the end-user is fundamental.

      The successful candidate will help grow Schneider Electric’s (including AVEVA Software) share of the wallet including our full portfolio of products, software, solutions and services and you will identify new business opportunities with your accounts relevant to the end user business challenges. This role requires a highly motivated and collaborative business leader with the ability to standardize our approach globally and drive both revenue and profitability

      You enjoy working in fast-changing and dynamic environments as well as in complex matrix-organizations. You are an excellent team player, communicator and you know how to build the best teams to serve the end-user needs. Because you will work in a very international environment, you are fluent in English with very good verbal and written skills.

      In summary, this position requires someone who can build a seamless experience for our customer by creating bridges both internally and externally. This individual will be the Global point of contact for ENI & Saipem. They will be responsible for the global account strategy, operational plans and for the oversight and alignment of the support team and business sponsors. Most importantly, you will be an advocate internally for your account and lobby across SE to ensure that the end-user needs are met.

      What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

      • Degree in engineering, IT/OT technology or sustainability

      • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the global Energies and Chemicals (Oil, Gas, & Chemicals segment) and the evolving focus on new energies
      • Mandatory: native speaker of Italian and fluent English
      • Experience in global business development roles
      • Experience with IT/OT digital simulation, computer science, ideally in OT
      • Experience with energy transition and sustainability topics
      • Experience in development of integrated value propositions and project management
      • Ability to lead a diverse and non-direct reporting team with the added complexity of multiple entity structures and processes.
      • Ability to build indirect team across diverse locations and backgrounds, foster teamwork and collaboration.
      • Customer centric - from practical project/sales experience, able to work with end user customer
      • Knowledge of Industrial Automation and Power Distribution systems and software.
      • Preference for experience with third party integration based on open and proprietary protocols
