Über den Bereich

Der Bereich Technologie, Daten und Innovation (TDI) stellt Applikationen und technologische Infrastruktur über die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette der Deutschen Bank zur Verfügung. TDI arbeitet eng mit allen Geschäfts- sowie Infrastrukturbereichen zusammen, um die Produkte und Dienstleistungen der Bank zu ermöglichen und zu verbessern.

Der Bereich „Strategy, Implementation, Transformation & Performance Management“) ist sowohl für die Entwicklung der TDI-Strategie verantwortlich, aber auch für die Definition der strategischen Roadmap für die Implementierung und das Performance Management anhand strategischer ‚Key Performance Indicators‘ (KPIs). Du bist Mitglied im „TDI Strategy Development“ Team, welches für die Weiterentwicklung der TDI-Strategie und auch damit verbundenen Anfragen und Analysen verantwortlich ist.

Aufgaben

• Als Kernmitglied im Team „TDI Strategy Development“ erwartet dich eine abwechslungsreiche Tätigkeit mit Verantwortung für eigene Themengebiete in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Stakeholdern und Experten im Unternehmensbereich TDI – im Kontext der Strategie und Prioritäten für TDI und für den Konzern gesamthaft
• Du entwickelst und treibst ein ganzheitliches Strategie-Konzept für TDI voran, um Chancen und Risiken, die sich aus internen und externen Entwicklungen ergeben zu erkennen, zu strukturieren und Anpassungen an der Strategie daraus abzuleiten
• Du etablierst und leitest für deine Strategiebereiche/ Themengebiete die interne Stakeholder-Abstimmung in TDI und darüber hinaus, um die offizielle IT-Strategie der Bank hinsichtlich der wichtigsten Entwicklungen zur aktualisieren
• Du koordinierst bzw. hilfst bei strategischen Initiativen, Analysen oder ad-hoc-Aufgaben für das Senior Managements des TDI-Bereichs und erstellst Präsentationen und Kommunikationsunterlagen zur Dokumentation/ Präsentation der Ergebnisse (bspw. für den Vorstand, Aufsichtsrat oder externe Adressaten wie z.B. Regulatoren)

Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Ausgezeichnete akademische Leistungen (Hochschulabschluss) und mehrjährige Berufserfahrung (> 5 Jahre), vorzugsweise in der Strategieberatung oder mit strategischem Hintergrund in der Finanzdienstleistungsbranche
• Hervorragende konzeptionelle und analytische Lösungskompetenz und ausgeprägte schriftliche/ mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten (Englisch verhandlungssicher und Deutsch wünschenswert)
• Team- und partnerschaftsorientiert und dennoch in der Lage eigenständig, strukturiert und ergebnisorientiert zu arbeiten, d. h. auch die Fähigkeit und Erfahrung selbstständig die Konzeption/ Koordination von Analysen und Initiativen zu übernehmen
• Interesse und auch bereits berufliche Erfahrung in einem herausfordernden, schnelllebigen und vielfältigen internationalen Umfeld in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Senior-Management
• Starkes Interesse an aktuellen Trends rund um digitale Transformation und Technologie für Banken und Finanzdienstleister

About the team

The Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) division provides applications and technological infrastructure across Deutsche Bank's entire value chain. TDI works closely with all business and infrastructure units to enable and improve the bank's products and services.

The "Strategy, Implementation, Transformation & Performance Management" department is responsible for the development of the TDI strategy, but also for defining the strategic roadmap for implementation and performance management based on strategic key performance indicators (KPIs). You are a member of the "TDI Strategy Development" team, which is responsible for the further development of the TDI strategy and related requests and analyses.

Your tasks

• As a core member of the "TDI Strategy Development" team, you can expect a wide-ranging role with responsibility for your own subject areas in close collaboration with stakeholders and experts in the TDI division - in the context of the strategy and priorities for TDI and for the Group as a whole
• You develop and drive forward a holistic strategy concept for TDI in order to identify and structure opportunities and risks arising from internal and external developments and derive adjustments to the strategy from this
• You establish and manage internal stakeholder alignment in TDI and beyond for your strategic areas/thematic areas in order to update the bank's official IT strategy with regard to the most important developments
• You coordinate or help with strategic initiatives, analyses or ad-hoc tasks for the senior management of the TDI division and create presentations and communication documents to document/present the results (e.g. for the Management Board, Supervisory Board or external addressees such as regulators)

Your skills and experience

• Excellent academic achievements (university degree) and several years of professional experience (> 5 years), preferably in strategy consulting or with a strategic background in the financial services industry
• Excellent conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills and strong written/oral communication skills (English business fluent and German desirable)
• Team- and partnership-oriented and yet able to work independently, structured and results-oriented, i.e. also the ability and experience to independently take over the conception/coordination of analyses and initiatives
• Interest and already professional experience in a challenging, fast-paced and diverse international environment in close collaboration with senior management
• Strong interest in current trends around digital transformation and technology for banks and financial service providers
