- Act as the functional expert for client's processing and operational business
- Organize and host client and issuer business review meetings as needed
- Represent the voice of the client to the business and voice of the business to the client by understanding and representing the needs of all parties
- Understand complex customer change requests, system or operational requirements; negotiate and manage expectations internally and externally
- Develop and manage short-term operational initiatives, special projects, and client-driven continuous improvement plans
- Possess a thorough understanding of payment processing and related services
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to ten years of sales experience in the financial services industry
- Considerable knowledge of sales and sales strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
- Excellent customer service/relations skills
- Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
- Ability to make critical decisions independently
- Ability to travel (less than 10%)

Job Description
The Strategic Partnership Manager - Prepaid is responsible for leading a high-performing team of senior relationship managers assigned a portfolio of strategic prepaid relationships including processing clients, issuing bank partners, and other integrated channel partners. The team is responsible for driving overall client satisfaction and organic growth, with responsibility for the strategic direction of the processing and partnership side of U.S. Bank’s prepaid business relationships. In this role, you will help shape best practices, while consulting on complex business and technical initiatives including technology investment projects, platform enhancement guidance and client contract and pricing responsibility. The individual possesses the background, knowledge and skillset to both lead and work alongside other team members, and cross-functionally within the larger organization to maintain and strengthen U.S. Bank Prepaid’s largest strategic client relationships. To be successful in this role you will enjoy strategic business line planning & business development, while also being engaged in the day to day with your team and developing strategic relationships with clients.
This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,230.00 - $123,800.00 - $136,180.00About the company
