- Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in their area of responsibility.
- To co-ordinate Sales, Operations and Administration dialogue and complaints - resolution ownership and responsibility to deliver customer satisfaction. To include, but not limited to effective master data cleansing, operational issue identification of missed visits and poor KPI's, invoicing resolution - credit note generation and debt management awareness and assistance.
- To renegotiate existing service contracts approaching their end dates
- Review and up-sell poor performing contracts to greater improve their profitability.
- Customer visits and presentations - account management at all levels including operations.
- Action all change of owner contracts and provide new contracts to new owner/occupiers.
- Internal relationship mapping of regional customer base and business intelligence collation.
- Accountable for winning new units from the open market through existing portfolio.
- Process all customer’s contract renegotiations and ensuring where possible units are retained.
- Previous strategic account management is essential.
- Proven stakeholder management, internal & external at all levels
- Experience in managing a core customer base of 10-15 accounts.
- Lifts industry experience is desirable.
- Must have experience in delivering internal & external presentations.
- Ability to use Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP & Salesforce is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information to both influence and negotiate good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently.
We are looking for a Strategic Portfolio Manager to cover the Midlands & East Anglia region to retain and renegotiate service contracts and proactively engage in customer account management. Additional responsibilities, maximizing portfolio growth opportunities, gaining additional units and services within existing client base.
Office location base can be Birmingham, Glasgow, Warrington, Keighley or Peterborough.
