What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the technical sales lead throughout the pre-sales cycle
- Become the regional technical subject matter expert in the employer platform
- Provide technical pre-sales support for assigned sales team
- Conduct technical and competitive landscape research
- Educate sales executives and partners on employer products and platform
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Several years of industry experience in sales engineering
- Technical background in Internet security principles
- Strong understanding of Internet protocols
- Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocols, and endpoint security technologies
- Prior experience in selling software to Fortune 500
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Conceptual knowledge of API's and experience with scripting languages such as Python
