What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the strategic sourcing processes, including proposals, quotations, and information
- Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to determine optimal sourcing strategies
- Establish and foster contacts with key suppliers
- Assist in compiling information and preparing reports
- Research and analyze market data, rules, and regulations to ensure cost controls
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of financial, accounting, marketing, proposal development, or estimating experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a role related to procurement or strategic sourcing
- Knowledge of environmental services or sustainability practices
- Familiarity with market data analysis and reporting
