Position Purpose: Lead complex data analysis projects, make strategic recommendations, and oversee the work of other analysts in support of both market and corporate initiatives.

• Lead analytic efforts to identify opportunities around member care, financial performance, operational efficiencies, and overall strategy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in the market and at corporate to develop strategy & solutions around opportunities that will improve clinical outcomes for members and reduce overall cost of care.
• Lead implementation efforts on multiple projects with cross functional teams
• Develop analytics to ensure what was implemented is driving expected improvement and value.
• Analyze competitor data/landscape, develop competitive dashboards, provides analytical insights (e.g., expansion, new products, M&A targets), and provide recommendations to leadership on potential next steps.
• Lead and mentor data analysts of variable skill and practice levels.
• Lead and execute complex data related analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficiencies.
• Responsible for keeping abreast of business needs and issues related to the success of the Medicaid, Medicare & Ambetter product based on regulatory or policy changes, contract changes, industry trends and/or corporate goals.
• Support the strategic and business planning process and lead larger scale, cross-functional initiatives that are intended to deliver on annual business and strategic plans.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master of Business Administration or equivalent is plus. 4+ years of experience in health care market analysis, strategic planning, compliance, corporate development, or equivalent business experience along with prior experience functioning as a lead. Strong analytic skillset (SQL, Excel, Power BI) strongly preferred. Strong Project Management/Lean Six Sigma skillset preferred.
