The primary businesses that the Corporate Bank supports are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services.

      You will be working in the newly founded Chief Information Office (CIO) & Chief Product Office (CPO) Strategy Office. The Strategy Office supports Deutsche Bank’s Chief Information & Product Officer for the Corporate Bank with Strategy Incubation and Development as well as Strategic Execution.

      This role is part of the Strategy Incubation Pillar of the Strategy Office. The objective of the Strategy Incubation Pillar is to incubate and build strategic ideas into proposals for leadership decision and to hold the pen on input into the Technology, Data & Innovation Strategy for the Corporate Bank and AFC, working across the CB CIO & AFC organisations.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Incubate new ideas and turn them into strategic propositions (incl. benefits and business cases, and ROI analysis) through analysis and strategy development
      • Analyse strategic drivers (incl. market, industry, technology) and translate insights into strategic direction and plans for senior management
      • Conduct research and analysis to understand the current state of technology and products within the organisation, and identify opportunities for innovation, transformation, and commercialisation
      • Be a consultant and partner to internal business stakeholders and infrastructure functions. Collaborate with business leaders and technology stakeholders to align technology and product initiatives with business goals and strategy
      • Communicate, inform and educate stakeholders about the strategy
      • Contribute to departmental and divisional best practices: Develop guidance, frameworks, tools and artefacts to support effective and efficient strategy implementation and management

      Your skills and experience

      • Strategic thinker with a passion for technology, product development, innovation, and transformation
      • Able to bridge the gap between business and technology, i.e. to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and to translate business needs into technology, product strategy and solutions
      • Understanding how technology aligns with business goals and creates value (operational efficiencies, new product development, product improvement, new business models etc.)
      • Able to translate strategic trends (technology, industry, competitors) into strategic proposals for senior management, including the development of benefits and business cases
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to work in complex stakeholder environments and to move diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal
      • Knowledge of one or several of the following would be a bonus: Corporate Bank products/services/technologies, Business Architecture, Project Management and Change Execution & Transformation
