What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop budget documents, financial projections, and guidance for leadership to aid in decision-making
- Oversee and ensure proper accounting and budgeting processes for assigned units within the Division of Student Affairs
- Collaborate with teams to assess budgets through trend analysis and forecasting of expenditures and revenues
- Prepare annual budget documents and financial analysis reports for presentations to leadership
- Advise on policy development and implementation for continuous improvement of Student Affairs auxiliaries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with budgeting cycles, financial modeling, and variance analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Six (6) years of related work experience
- Experience in higher education and with Fund Accounting
- Familiarity with AI for finance
- Experience working within multi-functional teams
- CPA certification
