What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and design marketing and communication strategies for the Department of Forensic Sciences
- Create, manage, and execute marketing plans, campaigns, and digital content
- Schedule and post regular updates on social media platforms regarding forensic science topics
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry and file organization
- Collaborate with faculty and students to gather information for marketing initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous skills, training, or experience in marketing or communications is required
- Must be available to work during standard business hours (M-F 8am-5pm)
- Ability to maintain discretion while working within organizational marketing standards
- Strong communication skills for interacting with faculty and students
- Comfort with managing social media accounts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in social media management or digital content creation
- Familiarity with forensic science topics and current trends
- Strong organizational skills to handle various administrative tasks
- Previous involvement in marketing campaigns or strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
