- The student will support departmental decision-making through and/or projects through the development of reports, data visualizations, and insights.
- Tasks may include: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing datasets from internal systems (e.g., surveys, spreadsheets, databases), Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to summarize findings. Using statistical tools (e.g., Excel, R, SPSS, or Python) to identify trends and insights. Presenting data findings in written and verbal formats to non-technical audiences. Collaborating with faculty/staff to identify opportunities for data-driven improvement. Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and privacy in all data handling processes. May mentor or review work of other student assistants.
- Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.
