Position Specific Summary
Research assistant for Professor Alison Barkoff in the Milken Institute School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management.
This position requires a graduate public health major to conduct social science research and policy analysis in support of deliverables for the Advancing Evidence-Based Policy Through Legal and Regulatory Analysis grant from the Commonwealth Fund, including issue briefs, explainers, amicus briefs, and public comment letters.
Standard Position Description
The student will perform administrative and research tasks under general supervision by a faculty member or research coordinator. Tasks may include: contribute to peer reviewed research and write research memos of findings, assist with presentations, supervision and training of other student staff, write and run statistical programs to analysis data. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental/faculty needs.
