      The Opportunity:

      At Arden University, we pride ourselves on being true innovators, disruptors and pioneers, our focus is to promote life-long learning and ensure that everyone, everywhere can access higher education. We are currently looking for a Centre Manager to join our Birmingham Study Centre.

      You will be responsible for the operational and day to day running of the centre, and be the local point of contact for our students. You will work with on ground centre teams and wider colleagues to ensure academic and support services for students meet with regulatory requirements and deliver on the Arden brand promise. You will be responsible for managing a team of Student Support Advisors and Front Desk Agents.

      It will be your responsibility to ensure our students and staff are engaged, motivated and productive and that their voices are heard in all the relevant channels and decision-making forums. You will also be responsible for all onsite facilities matters and have overall responsibility for making sure that daily operations deliver the Arden values, principles and promise.

      ** We have recently started delivery of evening courses on Tuesday and Wednesday during Study Blocks, and this may increase to other evenings in the future. There may be times when you will need to provide evening support.

      About You:

      You will need to have excellent people management skills with experience in the operational and day to day running of a regional office or educational centre. You will have good operational knowledge of relevant systems and practices, and be able to use your own initiative and judgement so that business and student decisions are managed effectively.

      A good awareness of developments in the higher education sector and the external professional environment will be needed to achieve your potential in this role.
