      The Engineered Items Product Commodity Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team.

      This position will be onsite at a Raytheon facility.

      What You Will Do:

      • Preparation and issuance of RFP’s
      • Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).
      • Support negotiation strategies and support formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions).
      • Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals.
      • Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.
      • Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to achieve objectives.
      • Post Award Purchase order maintenance to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.
      • Manage multiple Return to Vendor activities

      Qualifications You Must Have:

      • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 year’s experience
      • Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role.

      Qualifications We Prefer:

      • SAP/PRISM based environment experience
      • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
      • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)

      The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
