      Summary

      The supervisor for human resources operations administration will provide leadership, vision and strategy in the development, implementation and administration of the benefit, compensation, leaves management and HR Operation programs to ensure these programs are in compliance with government laws and regulations, and meets the goals and objectives of the health system.

      Job Description

      Responsible for bringing suggestions to the leadership team and cross functional centers of excellence for areas of improvement. Will work with all levels of management within the organization regarding related issues. Responsible for assisting staff with escalated employee concerns as well as researching issues with workflow. Provides audit support.

      Possesses a global knowledge of human resources. Oversee the timely and accurate processing of employee lifecycle transactions. Must have knowledge of benefit policies and laws/regulations. Must have knowledge of jobs, job classifications and FLSA classifications. Must have knowledge of Leave of Absence (LOA) rules, regulations and case management. Collaborate with Center of Expertise (COEs) and Human Resources Operations as needed to deliver services.

      Familiarity with employment practices, equal employment opportunity/affirmative action, wage and hour laws and the health care industry is desirable. Ensure compliance with corporate data administration, security standards, Human Resources policies, and procedures. Monitor performance and track metrics to identify opportunities for individual and team development. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities are required. The ability to maintain complete confidentiality is a must. Must possess a strong proficiency with computer software including Excel. Previous query experience helpful. Must be able to work and perform job requirements without close supervision; attention to detail is required. Must be able to prioritize and organize work load, must be courteous and cooperative; must be able to efficiently explain and answer questions related to the operation of the department to include policies and must be able to function with many interruptions. Also responsible for the approval of time cards, hiring, performance evaluations, development of staff and disciplinary issues

      Qualifications

      Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related discipline required.

      Four years’ experience applicable experience required. Experience managing and coaching teams, desired. Intermediate level of knowledge of general Human Resources transactions. Experience in Healthcare and/or Insurance industry preferred. Proficient computer skills including the ability to use the range of Microsoft Products (i.e., MS Office, Outlook/Exchange).
