      Key Accountabilities

      · Work with the supply chain category leads, functional stakeholders, and budget owners to understand purchasing needs and minimum criterial to evaluate and match up diverse suppliers for eventual opportunities
      · Work with supply chain category leads and functional stakeholders to pre-qualify new suppliers, review incumbent supplier performance, resolve issues and provide guidance to enhance supplier capabilities and growth opportunities
      · Interacting with diverse supplier community and serving as Vistra brand ambassador through conferences, trade shows, participation in regional and national NGOs and individual conversations with business owners
      · Tracking and reporting interactions and opportunities with prospective diverse suppliers
      · Actively engage in the preparation of internal and external events promoting and recognizing Supply Chain Diversity efforts
      · Drive the Multi- Tier program and oversee and ensure timely and accurate reporting
      · Expand the boundaries of an already effective working relationship with internal stakeholders and budget owners within the retail teams (TXU Energy, Dynegy, etc.), the generation teams (Fossil, Renewables, Nuclear) and the corporate support organizations (legal, finance, tax, audit, etc.)
      · Provide ongoing support to Supply Chain Diversity Lead as requested

      Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

      Minimum 5 years experience in Suppler Diversity , Supply Chain or related field
      Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in a multidisciplinary environment
      Strong organizational and project management skills
      Experience in facilitating/leading work groups, cross functional process teams and focus groups
      Independence - Ability to complete tasks and initiatives with minimal amount of supervision
      Ability to travel up to 4 0 % of the time
      High school diploma or equivalent
      Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

      Excellent relationships both internally and externally
      Increased number of qualified Diverse and Small Suppliers included in bid opportunities
      Increased spend with Diverse and Small Suppliers
      Increased savings through Diverse and Small Suppliers
