What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Direct and manage supplier business plans and implementation processes across the organization
- Align supplier goals with company objectives to ensure mutual success
- Participate in supplier business reviews and resolve issues effectively
- Identify and drive new supplier opportunities, enhancing service capabilities
- Manage forecasting pipeline requirements and rebate projections
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Typically 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and considered a subject matter expert
- Ability to develop solutions to complex and challenging situations
- Experience working independently towards long-range goals and objectives
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating alternatives and making policy improvements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in supplier management or strategic partnerships in a technology environment
- Proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship building
- Familiarity with financial forecasting and performance analysis
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor less experienced team members
- Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions affecting supplier relationships
