      About the Role:

      Responsible for building a Supplier Relationship Team for dedicated account. Ensure strong and collaborative relationships with key and strategic suppliers ensuring adequate capability and capacity is available to the organization. Lead all interactions with third party organizations through account plans, targets and projects to maximize collaboration and value creation between the parties. Accountable and responsible for a cross-functional Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) to ensure alignment on supply strategy, complete product and process oversight, drive performance improvements in all functional areas (TRD, Quality, Supply Chain, procurement, life cycle management, post marketing authorization).

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Coordinate Supplier Relationship Team (SRT), comprised of quality, supply chain, sourcing, technical functions including validation, GMP, HSE to ensure Novartis AAA standards are met
      • Organize business review meetings, where key stakeholders and technical experts meet to discuss joint opportunities, potential roadblocks to collaboration, activities and resources required, and share strategies and relevant market trends
      • Set targets and manage performance (review KPIs and ensure implementation of CAPAs) of the suppliers and SRT
      • Serve as primary point of escalation for issues/KPIs
      • Lead major projects to improve supplier performance and ensure reliable supply
      • Create and follow project and account plans (capacity, saving, changes)
      • Write 3-5 year strategic plans for accounts
      • Assure the SRT has “one voice” to third parties
