What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on new and existing suppliers, evaluating financial stability and regulatory compliance
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supplier risk data from various sources to identify potential risk exposures
- Document and escalate high-risk findings to appropriate stakeholders in accordance with procedures
- Track remediation items and risk mitigation activities using the internal Risk Management System
- Maintain and update supplier profiles and risk classifications in the Risk Management System
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field is a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supplier risk management
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and identify risk patterns
- Solid understanding of risk management principles and vendor oversight practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CTPRP, CISA, CRISC, CISM)
- Experience with workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint, PowerBI)
- Strong relationship-building skills to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage confidential information and exercise sound risk judgment
- Skilled in translating complex topics into practical guidance
