- Develop and refine effective forecast models that capture industry trends, demand patterns, and both endogenous and exogenous factors;
- Lead initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, employing data analytics and advanced forecasting techniques;
- Generate comprehensive demand forecasts that amalgamate all pertinent inputs, aligning with detailed strategic planning sessions;
- Administer, integrate, and consolidate sales projections for executive presentation, ensuring the reconciliation of supply, demand, and new product strategies at micro and macro levels;
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to adjust forecasts in response to market variances;
- Partner with the Finance Director and Senior Demand Planning Manager to unify financial and supply chain information streams, including distributor data across Gulf & Levant countries;
- Coordinate reconciliation meetings to validate forecasts against actual sales, inventory levels, and stock coverage;
- Conduct regular reporting on demand planning and KPIs, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture;
- Guide the Supply Planning team in developing robust inventory strategies for existing and new product lines, including phase-outs;
- Assure consistency across Demand Statements, Published Forecasts, and Financial Forecasts;
- Engage with stakeholders to align operational timelines, inventory days, liquidation strategies, and address inventory aging concerns;
- Implement and manage innovative supply chain technologies to optimize forecasting, inventory management, and order tracking;
- Drive automation in routine tasks to boost efficiency and accuracy, particularly in data management and process execution;
- Conduct pilot testing for new processes or technologies, ensuring effective integration and minimal operational disruption;
- Create a structured feedback loop from all clusters to harness insights for ongoing process enhancement.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role within Pharma, Consumer Healthcare, or FMCG sectors, with regional exposure across multiple markets, preferably experienced with distribution models;
- Demonstrated cross-functional project management expertise and a history with distribution models;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel (VBA, Power Queries, Power Pivot), as well as database management skills;
- Familiarity with programming for task automation is highly desirable;
- Experience with SAP, JDA, BI Tools (e.g. QlikSense), SOX controls, and revenue recognition;
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities;
- Strong leadership presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Resilience under pressure with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
