Lead procurement and purchasing activities to support aerospace manufacturing operations, ensuring availability of materials.
Coordinate planning and scheduling with production teams, aligning material requirements, production capacity, and customer delivery timelines to ensure workflow.
Forecast and manage inventory across logistics, receiving, and inspection, maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing obsolescence, while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and ITAR.
Oversee receiving, inspection, and material handling functions, including work-in-progress (WIP) tracking and integration with quality control systems to maintain full traceability.
Drive inventory accuracy and accountability through structured cycle count.
Manage CMS.
Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of growth.
US Person
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience with APICS Certification.
5+ years of leadership experience within Supply Chain
QAD and ERP experience is a plus
Salary Range $170,000-185,000 plus annual bonus

PPG Aerospace is looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at our Sylmar, CA. manufacturing facility. This role is critical in supporting production, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance . The ideal candidate brings leadership and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure accuracy, and alignment across procurement, planning, and inventory functions. This is an onsite position and you will report to the Plant Manager.
