  PPG Aerospace is looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at our Sylmar, CA. manufacturing facility. This role is critical in supporting production, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance . The ideal candidate brings leadership and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure accuracy, and alignment across procurement, planning, and inventory functions. This is an onsite position and you will report to the Plant Manager.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement and purchasing activities to support aerospace manufacturing operations, ensuring availability of materials.

  • Coordinate planning and scheduling with production teams, aligning material requirements, production capacity, and customer delivery timelines to ensure workflow.

  • Forecast and manage inventory across logistics, receiving, and inspection, maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing obsolescence, while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and ITAR.

  • Oversee receiving, inspection, and material handling functions, including work-in-progress (WIP) tracking and integration with quality control systems to maintain full traceability.

  • Drive inventory accuracy and accountability through structured cycle count.

  • Manage CMS.

  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of growth.
    

  Qualifications

  • US Person

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience with APICS Certification.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience within Supply Chain

  • QAD and ERP experience is a plus

  • Salary Range $170,000-185,000 plus annual bonus
