- Ensure in-market supply on time in full at the right quality and cost
- Ensure “right to operate” for distribution
- Oversee successful in-market supply and distribution management (Commercial, Promotional, Clinical/IMP affiliate level)
- Partner with CSM for upstream replenishment coordination from central packaging site incl. exception management.
- Implement and/or monitor an efficient cost-to-serve-model (incl. KPI metrics).
- Depending on the local finance model: ownership to oversight of the order to cash process
- Manage contracts and optimize performance with supply chain service providers (e.g. O2C, logistics and distrib) incl. establishing and monitoring KPI metric
- Monitor and control Warehouse & Distribution and/or Logistic Service Provider operational cost as part of the Supply Chain budget
- Leverage data for decision making by using e.g. analytics, simulation tools and customer insights
- Drive efficiency through identifying value-adding and productivity-enhancing in-market opportunities through technology and data (e.g. CWP, IMIP, Robotics ASPIRE etc) in-line with the digital roadmap
- Collaborate with different functions in the affiliate to understand the changes which may impact supply to and within the country and aligns with CSM to adjust the repl. Plan
- Contribute to the supply chain design together with the CVSP and support implementation of supply solutions to meet customer requirements
- Ensure appropriate supply chain set-up (incl. e.g. master data) in-line with the life cycle status of the product/portfolio
- Lead & implement in-market supply projects/initiatives to gain efficiency and meet customer needs (e.g. cold chain, home delivery etc).
- Own & govern local supply chain risk management plan (e.g. financial and operations)
- Role holder may work across the portfolio
- Role holder may be super user for MyBuy and manage cost centres and purchase orders
- Responsible for activities and oversight of customs and imports
- Responsible for activities and oversight of exports
- Responsible for local supply chain reporting, e.g. low stock, planning, backlog, DASH, provision, inventory value, supplier templates and CMU reports
- Logistics inbox management
- Tamiflu seasonal and pandemic customer and stock planning
- Collaboration with CSM, CVSPs, ODMs and CSPs.
The Position

Customer Value Stream Partners and Customer Logistics Managers within the Supply Chain & Customer Services Chapter roles are responsible for delivering excellence in demand forecasting and stock planning; inventory analytics and distribution management; material master data; import and export activities. They work cross-functionally to support the business in managing products through the lifecycle from pre-launch through to streamlining. With an inventory holding of around £120M and a distribution budget of £1.5M, Chapter Partners are critical in ensuring that the Rx Supply Chain Chapter delivers industry leading customer satisfaction through 100% stock availability for patients, minimising costs of stock write-off and distribution; in compliance with regulations set out by HM Revenue and Customs, Home Office and the MHRA. Responsible for executing globally designated roles (e.g. Local Export Control Officer, Local Logistics Security Officer, SAP super user, etc.)
As a Customer Logistics Manager, you will be accountable for in-country distribution and Order-to-Cash to ensure timely delivery to customers. You will oversee in-country supply chain activities to ensure we meet our service goals. You will be responsible to ensure world class service levels and right-to-operate for local distribution and to implement supply chain strategies that successfully deliver our innovative medicines to customers and patients. This is a key role within the end-to-end supply chain operating model that interacts with local and global stakeholders.
