      SUMMARY:

      Responsible for performing assignments supporting Supply Chain Procurement and Value Analysis. Assignments may include sourcing, creation of financial comparisons, building and maintain contact documentation, monitoring compliance, assistance with contract renewals, extensions, terminations, and contract reporting. Interacts with suppliers to align Supply Chain support activities with a focus on post signature and/or post approval activities.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Assists and monitors contractual agreements between Brown University Health and suppliers of products and/or services. This includes duties such as maintaining contract documentation, assistance with contract renewals, extensions, and reporting. Builds connections with suppliers to ensure appropriate communication and issue resolution.
      • Maintains accurate contract pricing within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, investigates pricing discrepancies and product inquiries with suppliers, and participates in analytical activities including use of data tools and resources. Utilizes intermediate procurement procedures and techniques as needed. Analyzes and reports on financial attributes including pricing, discounts, rebates, and contractual commitments.
      • Necessary skills include project management, effective communication, organization in a diverse portfolio of work, attention to detail, and knowledge of commonly-used Microsoft Office functions. Utilizes a collaborative team-centered approach to forming and maintaining positive working relationships. Participates in development and continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes.
      • Adheres to federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to contracting and procurement of equipment, supplies, and services. Plans and implements recurring work using established procedures, conferring with Supply Chain leadership as necessary.


      PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Understands how to use a range of wide tools and processes in Supply Chain and Supplier Management.
      • Maintains contractual records post signature, such as contract information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, compliance reporting, and other documents for assigned agreements.
      • Fosters supportive relationships with other Supply Chain team members.
      • Ensures work maintains data integrity within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
      • May negotiate supplier agreements under the direction of Supply Chain leadership
      • Performs other duties as assigned by Supply Chain Leadership.


      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Effectively monitors contract compliance.
      • Ability to support Enterprise Procurement programs
      • Collaborate smoothly with all disciplines of the Procurement
      • Utilizes supply Chain tools to report contract status and performance.
      • Collaborates with other Supply Chain functions to perform work in an efficient, effective manner.
      • Uses Supply Chain tools to perform benchmarking and financial analysis.
      • Adapts communication to diverse audiences
      • Proficiency in advanced self-service data analytics tools.


      EDUCATION:

      Bachelor degree in related field or Associate degree preferred.
      In lieu of education requirements, 3 years related work experience in supply chain, contract preparation and/or administration required.

      EXPERIENCE:

      • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience is required
      • A minimum of one (1) year experience with Datalynx functions and reports
      • Project Management
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.


      Pay Range:
      $61,422.40-$101,337.60
