What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate, organize, and maintain the college catalog, curriculum database, and class schedules
- Provide data entry of courses into software programs and assist in reporting and research activities
- Review and verify compliance with state and district curriculum policies and procedures
- Prepare agendas, reports, correspondence, and ensure the proper processing of documents
- Lead and coordinate the work of clerical assistants as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in complex support to management
- Demonstrated sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
- Good knowledge of record-keeping principles and college policies related to the assigned support area
- Ability to coordinate a wide variety of materials and complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in office methods, procedures, and automated equipment operation
