      Responsibilities

      The Support Specialist II is responsible for direct support of end-user systems and applications used by the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Acts as mid-level support for end-user issues, including: computers, printers, scanners and various production software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Cerner EMR, Citrix and other Windows applications. The core of the position is troubleshooting computer hardware and software as a customer service representative.

      Essential Functions:

      • Provides customer service and answers user inquiries regarding computer software, hardware operation, and the use and interface of systems and software applications.
      • Installs, maintains, and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, or information resources equipment.
      • Coordinates deployment with other service line support staff to ensure effective workflow.
      • Works with network and system service line personnel in the configuration of client devices to ensure configuration meets the networking infrastructure plan for the organization.
      • Communicates and is available to the MIS Team through email, cisco jabber and phone

      Qualifications

      Experience: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in computer systems support and IT healthcare work

      Education: Associates Degree in Management Information Systems or related field preferred

      Licensure/Certification: Technical certification preferred.
