- Obtain and track approvals, denials, and additional information requests from third-party payers within the EMR
- Ensure timely authorization tracking and resolution processes
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and responses
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding authorization status
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in healthcare
- Working knowledge of computers and software systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively achieve department outcomes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Epic software
