Job Description

- Define & manage the sustainability program & its roadmap to realise our ambitions
- Set & monitor short-term and long-term sustainability goals and translate them into clear KPI’s across the organisation, perform the follow-up and ensure proper reporting across the company and towards our non-financial information
- Steer & provide guidance to the internal teams on sustainability projects to ensure they are in line with the roadmap defined and sustainability goals are met
- Collaborate & educate throughout the organisation to embed sustainability in all we do, ensure ambitions are met and our reputation is positively fed
- Engage with external stakeholders to remain informed on market developments, regulation & new legislation to make sure compliance is achieved and our roadmap is optimized
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with national or global organisations to contribute and deliver an acceleration towards our roadmaps
- Manage relationships with external organizations, partners and vendors
- Remain competent and up-to-date on sustainability best practices, especially within the Telco sector, through research, continuous learning and training
- Promote & explain the company’s sustainability philosophy to internal & external audiences
- Project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Trilingual (NL – FR – EN)
- Ability to proactively build relationships and navigate a transversal organization; skilled at collaborating and influencing at various levels of the organization
- Experienced with the concepts around sustainability/ESG
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks & ESG surveys
- Master degree
- 10+ years’ professional experience
- 5+ years’ experience managing mid-to-large scale projects in a corporate environment
- 2+ years' experience in sustainability

Main tasks & responsibilities:
As a Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for defining & driving a company-wide sustainability roadmap and collaborate throughout the organisation. You will partner with a broad set of internal teams including investor relations, finance, communications, commercial, engineering, product management etc. with as goal to embed sustainability into everything we do and ensure the sustainability/ESG roadmap is translated into best-in-class projects in order to improve performance over time and achieve our ambition. Exploring external partnerships to achieve greater impact will also be part of what you will need to do.
