What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide data analysis reports for data submitted by states and on an ad hoc basis
- Develop and implement automated data preparation and cleaning processes using Tableau Prep and R
- Assist in the administration of the Tableau Server, including user management and publishing data sources
- Perform data mining, cleaning, and manipulation using SQL and R for statistical analyses and visualizations
- Create documentation and presentations to support data collection and visualization projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in a related discipline and at least 8 years of experience in database administration and data analysis
- Expertise in Tableau, SQL, and MS Office (Excel)
- Experience with the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a government agency
- Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) and scripting languages (Python, R, or Matlab)
- Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and tools
