      Golden Nugget Lake Charles is a luxury casino-resort that opened in December 2014. The property contains nearly 1,100 well-appointed hotel rooms and suites with private balconies available.       Fertitta Entertainment through its various subsidiaries and affiliate companies is a national, diversified gaming, restaurant, hospitality, entertainment and retail organization. We own and operate the Golden Nugget Hotels and Casinos located in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada, Atlantic City, New Jersey and Biloxi, Mississippi.       Responsibilities

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

      • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
      • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
      • Offer the highest possible level of Customer Service resulting in a maximum level of customer enjoyment and return play.
      • Responsible for knowing all policies & procedures of the specific table game he/she is supervising.
      • Responsible for distribution of cards, dice and tiles to gaming pits.
      • Train, coach, counsel, recognize floor supervisors and dealers who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in business operations and guest service.
      • Visually inspect all casino equipment and follow procedures for notification, repair and replacement.
      • Maintain a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of productivity & performance, as well as, morale.
      • Work diligently to support the Golden Nugget’s culture and team philosophy throughout the property.
      • Act as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Golden Nugget and encourages other team members to do the same.
      • Promote positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.
      • Amicably resolves customer related problems in a fast paced environment.
      • Ensure the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.
      • Comply with all departmental and Company Policies including Golden Nugget’s business ethics guidelines.
      • Comply with all regulatory requirements.
      • Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget’s trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.
      • Create and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment.
      • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
      • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
      • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      QUALIFICATIONS :

      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

      • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
      • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
      • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
      • Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
      • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
      • Display strong work ethic and team work.

      Pit Manager

      • Seven (7) years table games experience in a large (50 or more table games) casino strongly preferred.
      • Five (5) years at Floor Supervisor level or above is required.
      • Must be knowledgeable of all casino games and rules.

      Floor Supervisor position

      • Five years casino experience with a minimum of three years in a D/R management level.
      • Must be knowledgeable of at least two primary casino games.
      • Must be able to Supervise all “non primary” games within 6 months of employment (non primary game is defined as any game other than craps, blackjack, roulette, baccarat/mini or tiles).
      • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
      • Must have knowledge of Golden Nugget’s Gaming Policies and Procedures.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :

      • High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
      • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Dual-Rate Pit Manager required.
