What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide analytical and technical personnel services related to classification and pay for various divisions/regions within the department
- Conduct research and analyze information to resolve personnel-related issues
- Assist in the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with hiring protocols
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency within the Talent Acquisition Unit
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to personnel services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be eligible for appointment and have authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to effectively communicate and solve problems
- Experience in human resources or related field preferred
- Capacity to research and analyze information to resolve issues
- Ability to work in a primarily sedentary position for extended periods while operating a computer
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a government or public service role
- Familiarity with classification and pay processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a diverse team environment
- Knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition best practices
