      Job posting end date: 05/25/2025

      Introduction

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist or Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team in Finland! In this role, you get to combine Talent Acquisition (TA) and Employer Branding (EB) in a unique way.

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes within specific business areas and own and coordinate our employer branding efforts, including managing student association collaborations, university events, and career fairs, as well as supporting our Summer Trainee recruitment project. Your role plays a crucial part in attracting and recruiting top talent and aligning recruitment efforts with business needs, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of our organization. In this position, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager, HR Finland.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role, and the role expectations depend on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. The location for the position is Espoo, Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

      Team you belong to

You will join a team of five Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding professionals dedicated to attracting and recruiting top talent to Metso and building a strong employer brand. We are continuously enhancing our recruitment strategies, implementing global hiring best practices, and supporting strategic talent initiatives.

We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as global TA, EB & HR teams, hiring managers, business leaders and external partners like EB & job board partners, student organizations and learning institutions. Our team culture is all about collaboration, innovation, and proactive problem-solving. The members of our TA team are located in our HQ in Espoo, but you'll get to collaborate with colleagues around Finland and the world.

      What you'll do

As a Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist or Partner, you’ll take the lead in both recruiting top talent and strengthening our employer brand, ensuring our people strategies support the business and resonate with future candidates. Your responsibilities include:

      • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes – from partnering with hiring managers and posting job opportunities to interviews, selection and offer stages.
      • Driving a smooth, engaging and inclusive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
      • Leading the development and execution of our Employer Branding strategy and yearly roadmap.
      • Planning and running branding campaigns and content initiatives across digital channels.
      • Acting as the main driver for social media content and brand storytelling together with Communications and Marketing.
      • Coordinating student and university collaboration, including partnerships with student organizations, visibility at career fairs, and event planning.
      • Playing a key role in the Summer Trainee recruitment project, coordinating the talent attraction and employer branding initiatives.
      • Using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and data analytics to track performance, optimize processes, and support decision-making.
      • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our recruitment and branding efforts are aligned, inclusive, and future-focused.

      Who you are

You are a proactive and curious people professional who thrives in a role where you can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You bring a strong sense of ownership and a collaborative mindset, knowing how to navigate between different stakeholders, priorities and projects. Whether you're planning an EB campaign or guiding a hiring manager through the recruitment process, you’re driven by creating real impact.

      • Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes and partnering with hiring managers – ideally in a dynamic, matrixed, or global environment.
      • A solid understanding of employer branding principles and content creation, with experience in planning and executing campaigns across digital and social media platforms.
      • Experience in student and university collaboration, such as organizing career events and building long-term partnerships.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
      • A data-driven and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to track performance, optimize processes, and make informed decisions.
      • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with attention to detail.
      • A positive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to continuously learn and evolve in the role.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and familiarity with recruitment (e.g. SuccessFactors) and video editing tools are seen as a plus.
      • Proficiency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
