- Reviews, approves and posts new job requisitions submitted by department users in a timely manner. Checks new job requisitions for accuracy and completeness prior to posting. Ensures correct position titles, minimum requirements, and salary range match assigned school job descriptions. Works with department managers, business office personnel, and Compensation to answer questions and resolve discrepancies with job requirements and job postings.
- Facilitates pre-employment reference checks via vendor.
- Performs pre-employment screening processes for individuals as required by job title. Ensures drug screens, background checks, and other screenings are completed prior to the start date.
- Serves as a primary contact for department managers and business office personnel for administrative and technical questions regarding systems, procedures, and processes.
- Strategizes with teammates and recruiting manager to determine and accomplish recruitment goals.
- Submits assigned reports in a timely manner.
- Assists recruiters in promoting the University’s Affirmative Action efforts.
- Helps ensure departmental compliance with laws and policies on recruitment, employment, and hiring. Provides guidance to management regarding compliance with federal or university applicant screening and tracking requirements.
- Performs specific projects and other duties as assigned.
- Experience with Workday systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources recruitment policies and regulatory issues.
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and listening skills with a high level of perception when dealing with others.
- Broad general knowledge of Human Resource areas including compensation, benefits and employee relations policies and regulations.
- Effective knowledge of the University culture.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and materials.

$20.76 - $32.21 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
