- Executes recruitment efforts for National University.
- Conducts intake meetings with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, timelines, and candidate qualifications.
- Partners with hiring managers and Human Resource Business Partners to outline the needs of the hiring manager and the requirements and expectations of the position.
- Sources and recruits candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting high-quality candidates for the position.
- Seeks out and recommends proactive and creative sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, job boards, networking, social media, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
- Develops a pool of qualified candidates by posting open positions to appropriate Internet sources and job boards.
- Attends career job fairs to meet recruitment needs and enhance University recognition.
- Coordinates the interview process, including pre-screening of resumes, sending application packets, arranging interviews, and facilitating skills testing.
- Prepares and extends employment offers and supports pre-employment processes, including references and background checks.
- Maintains recruitment activity, candidate documentation, and reporting within the ATS, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Assists with the calculation of staffing metrics.
- Maintains relationships with temporary agencies to fill temporary employment needs.
- Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the industry through attendance of educational seminars, networking, and industry events.
- Supports inclusive recruitment strategies and outreach efforts while ensuring compliance with employment laws, University policies, and equal employment opportunity guidelines.
- Assists with recruitment process improvement initiatives, special projects, and other functions as directed by Talent Acquisition leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field, required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of talent acquisition experience utilizing sourcing and applicant tracking systems (ATS), including LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, or similar sourcing platforms; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in higher education preferred.
- Professional Human Resources or Recruiter certification, a plus.
- Ability to participate as an active team member of the Business Unit, Department and University to work toward a common goal.

- Working knowledge of recruiting principles, practices and processes including but not limited to job boards and Boolean searches.
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws related to recruiting, employment and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
- Solid ability in being resourceful in sourcing skills and investigating new avenues for finding qualified talent. Highly developed resume screening and interviewing skills.
- Ability to support a collaborative work environment to ensure the best results for the team and company. Ability to reach out and ask for help or seek expertise of others when necessary.
- Solid working knowledge to drive towards achieving measurable and challenging goals to support organizational success. Demonstrated ability to focus on achieving results consistent with the organization's objectives.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software related to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment systems.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, independent thinker, planning and organizational skills and follow through with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities. Good follow-up and follow-through to ensure deliverables.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to appropriately communicate with a wide range of individuals of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including translating technical language to a non-technical nature.
- Work independently with flexibility while fostering a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.
Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $55,869.00 - $75,427.00
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner manages full-cycle recruitment activities supporting academic, operational, and administrative hiring needs across National University. The incumbent partners closely with hiring managers, Human Resource Business Partners, and University leadership to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, attract and engage qualified talent, build diverse candidate pipelines, and ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. The Talent Acquisition Partner utilizes sourcing technologies, recruitment analytics, and industry best practices to support workforce planning initiatives and organizational hiring goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
