What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and review Clean Energy US federal and state partnership income tax returns
- Support quarterly reporting to investors in accordance with ASC740
- Assist with technical research and quantitative analysis for tax planning projects
- Support the forecasting and budgeting process related to clean energy grants and incentives
- Contribute to transaction review and documentation processes across various tax areas
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience working on partnership tax with a national accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax; Master's degree/CPA is a plus
- Strong desire to learn and apply complex tax technical concepts
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle evolving priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with maintaining partner tax capital accounts, taxable income, and outside tax basis adjustments
- Interest in M&A and renewable investment transactions
- Familiarity with state tax exposure
