      Main Purpose:

      Function:

      Ensure consistent management of tax and customs issues within Puma Group, together with local management and Trafigura tax department.

      Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

      Key Responsibilities:

      1 -Analysis of tax impact due to tax reforms, develop action plans to address and minimize impact of new regulations.

      2 -Analyze, identify and mitigate any risk identified regarding taxes

      3 -Develop, track, design and implement tax audit defense files, documentation policies and other key tax controls

      4 - Implementation of tax strategies to achieve efficient taxation (direct taxes and indirect taxes) based on guidance from the regional and global tax manager.

      5 - Manage any requirement from Local Tax authority and ensure to provide the information required on time and accurate, according to the local regulations.

      6- Provide support to manage tax audits, tax litigation cases, dispute resolutions, tax defense file and legal strategies

      7 - Review variations on tax forecasts/budgets and provide support for planning activities.

      8 - Support of business restructuring projects, M&A transactions and other projects

      Requirements:

      Experience:

      • At least 10 year experience in taxes and several years in emerging countries
      • Superior degree with strong experience of managing tax function in emerging markets, exposure to customs and incoterm management.

      Skills:

      • Audit experience is preferred in public accounting or internal audit.
      • Computer knowledge (MS Office)
      • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
      • Experience with ERP tools, international commerce and customs systems
      • Fluent in English
      • Proven work experience as a Tax Manager

      • External - State authorities (Tax and customs), Auditors.
