      Tax Manager (f/m/d)

      YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Takeover responsibility for tax compliance and reporting of German legal entities
      • Preparation and filing of tax returns for corporate tax, trade tax, Pillar 2 filings and other tax filings for German legal entities (including material subsidiaries of Bayer AG)
      • Provide support to foreign affiliates within the scope of Tax Reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements reporting based on IFRS
      • Standardization and efficiency enhancements on tax compliance and tax reporting by using new digital solutions
      • Fulfill expert role in assessing global tax accounting issues and elaborate the impact on tax positions in Bayer’s Group financial statements
      • Be the contact person for German or Global Auditors for any questions on tax related representations in our group financial statements
      • Be responsible for steering the regional tax impacts on the effective tax rate as well as advise countries within an assigned region with regard to all tax accounting items

      WHO YOU ARE

      • University degree in Business Administration/Business Science with specialization in accounting and/ or taxes
      • Certified tax advisor or financial auditor with international tax knowledge is a plus
      • Several years of experience in Tax accounting / advisory
      • Experience with new BEPS Pillar 2 regulation is welcome
      • Open for development of skills in data analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Knime etc.
      • Strong desire to expand own knowledge on the subject of IT systems, applications, data analytics and other methods to ensure the quality of the financial data and to automate, standardize and simplify the Tax Accounting process
      • Experience in working with a Tax Reporting software (ideally Global Tax Center by AMANA), good SAP knowledge (ERP, Reporting solutions, Analysis for Office) as well as proficient usage of MS Office
      • High degree of team spirit, communication skills and high level of commitment
      • Fluent English language skills, written and spoken
