What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Train Master's-level Counselor Education students in Clinical Mental Health, School Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy tracks
- Design and facilitate online and practicum/internship instruction, ensuring quality delivery
- Advise students on academic and career direction within counseling fields
- Contribute to curriculum development and teaching strategies relevant to the discipline
- Supervise students at practicum and internship site placements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in counseling or a closely related field
- Experience providing direct services with clients as a professional counselor or school counselor within the last three years
- Licensed or license-eligible as a school counselor, professional counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of WI
- At least one year of higher education teaching experience
- Ability to work independently within the United States upon hire date
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least one year of graduate-level teaching experience within the last five years
- University-level online synchronous and asynchronous teaching experience within the last five years
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development in best practices in teaching and learning
