      Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Team Lead, Administrative Assistant through February 6th at 11:59 p.m.

      This position reports to the Pascagoula Refinery Director as well as providing leadership direction to 6 direct reports. This includes reviewing director's e-mail, maintaining his/her calendar and coordinating meetings and special events, arranging domestic and international travel, composing correspondence, and following up on action items. This position performs assignments with a high level of independence, initiative, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

      Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

      • Prioritizes work successfully and meets deadlines, anticipates needs and work. Coordinates domestic and international travel and requirements and prepares itineraries.

      • Prepares documents, presentations, and communications in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Manages the Director’s calendar using Outlook.

      • Reviews, screens, prioritizes, and responds to emails, mail, and telephone calls, as appropriate. Composes correspondence as needed with proper handling of sensitive and classified material. Effectively communicates and conveys ideas and provides feedback to Director and OC members.

      • Manages expenses and compiles expense reports.

      • Acts as liaison between refinery organizations and Director, as well as resource and liaison for Global Downstream and Mfg. Management.

      • Supervises team of 6 Administrative Business Partners providing highly skilled administrative support to the Operations and Maintenance & Reliability functions.

      • Partners with functional leads and direct reports to set clear expectations, strategies and performance goals for work group and develops & implements action plans to accomplish.

      • Conducts regular coaching sessions and performance management appraisals to improve job performance and meet business plan deliverables.

      • Interviews and hires for open positions.

      • Identifies development opportunities, training, lateral job assignments, and special projects to improve performance and prepare employees for positions of increased responsibility.

      Required Qualifications:

      • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

      • At least 5 years' experience in administrative field supporting high level management or relatable experience.

      • Demonstrated leadership experience.

      • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly maintaining attention to detail and proper organization.

      • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers.

      • Experienced analyzing company needs, employee development and goal setting.

      • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, key stakeholders, and customers.

      • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.

      Relocation Options:
