What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage publisher migrations from alignment through launch, coordinating technical and business requirements
- Develop close relationships with news publishers to understand their goals and troubleshoot technical challenges
- Maintain knowledge of the Newspack platform and the news publishing landscape to provide effective support
- Work independently while engaging with the team to share insights and drive continuous improvement
- Document solutions and identify patterns for process improvements and enhanced publisher success strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Solid working knowledge of WordPress core functionality and common plugins
- Background in client services, account management, or technical support with direct customer interaction
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Comfort with technical troubleshooting and creative problem-solving
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing relationships and solving problems directly with customers in a technical context
- Familiarity with the news publishing landscape and current trends in digital media
