What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and provide detailed insights on complex accounting matters in compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and policies for new and existing transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors for documentation during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Advise cross-functional teams on complex transactions and accounting matters
- Prepare quarterly SOX technical accounting controls and support internal control documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and industry with a focus on revenue recognition
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and expertise in various ASC topics including ASC 842 and ASC 805
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting

- Direct experience with public and/or high-growth organizations
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and technical accounting research tools
