What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and provide insights on complex accounting matters in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and policies for transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors for documentation support during reviews and audits
- Advise cross-functional teams on complex transactions and accounting matters
- Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and industry
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP with expertise in various ASC topics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Direct experience with public and/or high-growth organizations
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and technical accounting research tools
