What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess configuration and data mapping for EDI Eligibility transactions
- Act as a point of contact for release notes, requirements, and test cases related to Open Enrollment processes
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with operations and support teams
- Mentor junior team members while providing technical expertise and support to team efforts
- Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code for critical components
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare industry, with at least 2 years in a similar role
- Strong programming and debugging skills with proficiency in one or more software languages
- Mandatory healthcare insurance experience related to claims, configuration, and/or financial background
- Experience in TA/BA/QA roles within Agile Methodology or Waterfall project planning
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of EDI transactions, specifically 837 and 835
- Familiarity with Explanation of Payment and financial offset knowledge
- Experience with HRP XML transactions
- Understanding of ITS systems, particularly Bluecard
