What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide external-facing technical assistance to Medicaid stakeholders
- Analyze Medicaid and CHIP data, identifying causes and solutions for data quality issues
- Lead state technical assistance meetings and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Communicate complex data issues and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support product vision workshops and assist in prioritizing features and user stories
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, healthcare, biology, or a related discipline; or ten years of general IT experience with eight years of specialized experience without a degree
- Experience with healthcare data, specifically in provider, beneficiary, claims, encounter, or quality measure data
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience analyzing Medicaid and CHIP data and providing technical assistance
- Familiarity with AWS cloud data architecture and tools, including Redshift and Quicksight
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe
